Today I have a photo from a scene in Seed Savers (Treasure). This was the inspiration for the treehouse/playhouse where Dante and Clare spent a day eluding GRIM.
In other news, yesterday I harvested rhubarb and artichokes from my garden. Perhaps just strange enough to be part of the covert edible landscaping of the future as portrayed in Seed Savers? 🙂
Don’t forget, there are just a few more days to sign up to win a copy of Seed Savers: Treasure at Goodreads!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and liking it! I was so excited to see a picture of a real rhubarb! Love the term “edible landscaping” as it really describes what I want to do in my front yard!
Thanks. This was the first year I was able to harvest the rhubarb. Though I grew up yanking it out and eating it raw (!!!), as as adult I hadn’t grown any. I put some in the freezer to make strawberry-rhubarb pie with once the strawberries are ripe (yum).
Edible landscaping is how I roll! Most of what lives in my yard was planted there before I arrived. I just keep adding to it — mostly the edible variety, but also for the pollinators.
