Where I’ve Been and Where I’m Going

Rest in peace, Buffy.

Rest in peace, Buffy.

It’s been nearly two months since I last posted. I know — too long. But things happened, and then I got busy. I tend to think if anyone really cares, they are keeping track on my Facebook  page . . . but them I am reminded that not everyone is on Facebook. So today I’ll just do a little catch up post, nothing thought provoking, no rants or poems, just what I’ve been up to and what’s coming up.

My last post was late in August. It went live when I was winding my way through southern Tennessee, in and out of Georgia, and into the hills of North Carolina. My husband and I dropped off our son at the inspiring campus of the University of the South (Sewanee), and then headed off on a fact finding mission so I could fill in the geographical details for book three in my Seed Savers Series — which I did :).

In September, I had the pleasure of taking part in the second annual author fair at our local library. I talked to a lot of nice people and sold a few books.

I’ve gone to a couple farmers’ markets with my brother to help sell apples, cleared out my garden, and am enjoying the autumn colors and falling leaves. And mostly I’ve been working hard putting the finishing touches on Heirloom.

And, yes, it’s finally here: The release date for Seed Savers: Heirloom is 11-12-13. Following that, I will be on blog tour from Nov. 14 – Dec. 2. For those who don’t know, a blog tour means that my book will be featured in a different blog for each of those days. One day there will be a review, then maybe an excerpt or an interview . . . something different on every post. I’ve also been busy setting that up.

I’m sure to run some sort of sale during the holidays. So stay tuned . . .

And remember, if I let this page slide and you don’t have Facebook, there’s always the email newsletter which I try to send monthly, and always for major events and sales.

Happy Fall!
